The Manitoba Homecoming Brand
Overview
There’s something special about Manitoba, a feeling about our roots and the people we’ve grown up with. It’s not the place it used to be and it’s time to show off our stuff and come together in 2010.

The “Social Ticket” Concept
Unique to Manitoba, the “social” has come to represent a very distinctive part of our culture and symbolizes a fun meeting place where all are welcome. Most importantly, “socials” have traditionally been an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate and reconnect in a truly unique social atmosphere.
The “social ticket” was a natural inspiration for the Manitoba Homecoming 2010 logo. The illustration is meant to resemble an actual “arms length” or event ticket, icons that have become synonymous with the Manitoba social. The dancing character in the upper left corner defines the upbeat feeling of the event with his actions suggesting that he’s happy to see you and acts as an invitation to come and join the fun.
The tagline, “you ain’t seen nothing yet” has been borrowed from fellow Manitoban Randy Bachman’s song of the same title. The line implies that Manitoba has much more to offer and the celebration is just beginning.
We encourage you to use the Manitoba Homecoming logo on your event websites, signage and any printed material. But first, please take a minute to look at the Graphics Standards manual to ensure that we continue to portray a consistent message and image. You will also find information on the best use of the logo as well instructions on how to download.
